Gladstone Investment Corp., (NASDAQ: GAIN) is a business development company that purchases small and mid-sized businesses to generate current income and capital gains through debt and equity investments. We have made initial investments of our public offering proceeds in senior syndicated loans to invest our initial capital and generate current income. Our longer-term investment focus will involve buyouts and re-capitalizations of companies. We seek to provide our shareholders with consistent monthly dividends and currently pay $0.080 per share per month.
