Speaker Biography:
Allister Heath is editor of City A.M., the free daily business newspaper with a circulation of 100,000 in the city of London, Canary Wharf, and Mayfair. Prior to joining City A.M. on 1 March 2008, he was editor of The Business magazine and associate editor of The Spectator. Mr. Heath has contributed widely to the broadcast media, including BBC Newsnight, Channel 4 News, ITV, CNN, Fox News, Al-Jazeera, Radio 4, and Radio 5. He is a weekly contributor to CNBC Europe. Mr. Heath's first book, Flat Tax: Towards a British Model, was published in early 2006. He holds a BS in economics from the London School of Economics and an MPhil in economics from Hertford College, Oxford.
