Karl Rove
Karl Rove served as deputy chief of staff and senior advisor to President George W. Bush. He is currently a contributor to Fox News and a columnist for the Wall Street Journal and Newsweek. At the White House, Mr. Rove oversaw the Offices of Strategic Initiatives, Political Affairs, Public Liaison, and Intergovernmental Affairs. He is the author of Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight.

John O'Sullivan
John O'Sullivan is editor-at-large of National Review and executive editor of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. He has served as a senior editor at the London Times and the Daily Telegraph, and as a special adviser to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Mr. O'Sullivan has also been editor-in-chief of United Press International and editor of The National Interest. He is author of The President, the Pope, and the Prime Minister: Three Who Changed the World.

Paul Johnson
Paul Johnson is the author of several best-selling books, including The Birth of the Modern, A History of Christianity, Modern Times, and A History of the American People. His articles have appeared in numerous publications, including National Review, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal. In 2006, Mr. Johnson was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President George W. Bush.

Claire Berlinski
Claire Berlinski is a freelance investigative journalist, biographer, and novelist. The recipient of a degree in modern history and a doctorate in international relations from Oxford University, her journalism has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, National Review, and other journals. Ms. Berlinski is the author of Menace in Europe and There is No Alternative: Why Margaret Thatcher Matters.

Michael Mukasey
Michael Mukasey served as the 81st Attorney General of the United States in the administration of President George W. Bush. He was nominated for the federal bench by President Reagan. He previously served as a district judge, eventually becoming chief judge, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, where he handled the case of the "Blind Sheikh," Omar Abdel Rahman. A graduate of Yale Law School, he is currently a partner in the New York firm of Debevoise & Plimpton. His honors include the Federal Bar Council's Learned Hand Medal for Excellence in Federal Jurisprudence and an honorary Doctorate of Laws from Brooklyn Law School.


Larry Arnn
Larry P. Arnn, the president of Hillsdale College, received his PhD in government from the Claremont Graduate School. He also studied in England, where he served as director of research for Sir Martin Gilbert, the official biographer of Winston Churchill. He was president of the Claremont Institute from 1985-2000, where he was the founding chairman of the California Civil Rights Initiative, which prohibited racial preferences in state hiring, contracting, and admissions. Published widely, he is on the board of directors of the Heritage Foundation, the Henry Salvatori Center of Claremont McKenna College, the Center for Individual Rights, the Claremont Institute, and the Army War College. He is the author of Liberty and Learning: The Evolution of American Education.

Vaclav Klaus
Václav Klaus is president of the Czech Republic. Following the 1989 Velvet Revolution, he served as finance minister, and he has also served as Prime Minister and as President of the Chamber of Deputies. Mr. Klaus is a member of the Mont Pelerin Society and a recipient of several honorary degrees and awards. He has written numerous articles on economics and has published more than 30 books, including Blue Planet in Green Shackles- What is Endangered: Climate or Freedom?
