Atlas Energy Resources, LLC is a limited liability company focused on the development and production of natural gas principally in the Appalachian Basin, notably a leading position in the Marcellus Shale, and Northern Michigan’s Antrim Shale. Atlas also sponsors and manages tax-advantaged natural gas drilling partnerships, in which it co-invests, to finance the exploration and development of its acreage. Atlas is active primarily in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Tennessee and also in Indiana, where we have recently established a position in the New Albany Shale.
