Charles E. Githler III played a key role in the revolution of the individual investor. In 1978, shortly after discount brokerage and before Money magazine and almost all financial and business television as we know it today, he started producing large-scale investor trade shows--with encouraging early success attracting important recognition and support. BusinessWeek, Time, Forbes, NBC, and Nightly Business Report have run stories about the conferences. In his 30th year of conducting these meetings, Sir John Templeton, Alan Greenspan, Ronald Reagan, Louis Rukeyser, and Henry Kissinger have all addressed the Githler gatherings. Mr. Githler was born and raised in Princeton, New Jersey, has lived in Sarasota, Florida, since 1974, and is a commercial and residential real estate developer and a veteran investor in mutual funds, stocks, and businesses.
