Kathy Lien is the director of currency research at GFT, a world-leading provider of online currency trading services. She is responsible for providing research and analysis, including technical and fundamental research reports, market commentaries, and trading strategies to the media and GFT's customers worldwide via FX36.com. Prior to joining GFT, Ms. Lien was a chief strategist at DailyFX and an associate at JPMorgan Chase, where she worked in cross-markets and foreign exchange trading. She has vast experience within the interbank market, using both technical and fundamental analysis to trade FX spot and options. Ms. Lien also has experience trading interest rate derivatives, bonds, equities, and futures. She has written for Active Trader, Futures, and SFO magazines and is frequently quoted on CNBC, Bloomberg, FOX Business, and Reuters. She is also the author of the first edition of Day Trading the Currency Market and co-author of Millionaire Traders.
