Martin Pring is the president of Pring.com, which provides research for financial institutions and individual investors around the world. He entered the financial markets in 1969 and has grown to become a leader in the global investment community. In 1981, Mr. Pring founded the International Institute for Economic Research and began providing research for financial institutions and individual investors around the world. He has published a monthly market review, Intermarket Review, since 1984, which offers a long-term synopsis of the world's major financial markets and since 1988, he has been actively involved in Pring Turner Capital Group, a money management firm. Mr. Pring is also the author of several books including Introduction to Technical Analysis, Martin Pring on Market Momentum, and Technical Analysis Explained, which is now in its fourth edition. His articles have been featured in Barron's and he has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, International Herald Tribune, the New York Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the National Review. Mr. Pring also received the prestigious market technician's annual award and the A.J. Frost memorial award from the Canadian Technical Analysts Association.
