Josh Peters is equity income strategist for Morningstar and edits the monthly newsletter Morningstar DividendInvestor. As part of his role as editor, he manages the newsletter's Dividend Portfolio, comprised of individual stocks targeted to generate above-average income and superior total returns. Mr. Peters is also the author of The Ultimate Dividend Playbook: Income, Insight and Independence for Today's Investor (January 2008, Wiley). He joined Morningstar in 2000 as stock analyst, where he covered automotive and industrial companies. After leaving in 2003 to join UBS Investment Bank as an equity research associate in the automotive sector, he returned to Morningstar in 2004 to develop Morningstar DividendInvestor. Mr. Peters holds a Bachelor's degree in history and economics from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
