Michael Martin is president and chief investment officer of Financial Advantage, Inc. Before founding the company in 1987, he was a securities analyst and research director on Wall Street for 14 years followed by nine years at T. Rowe Price, where he was vice president and director of equity research. Mr. Martin has written a fixed-income investment book, Life After CDs, and writes a monthly column on retirement and investing for Financial Advisor magazine. He has been named among the best personal financial advisors in America by Worth magazine, Medical Economics, and Mutual Fund magazine. Mr. Martin studied economics at Assumption College, earned his JD from Fordham, was admitted to the New York Bar, and completed financial management programs at Princeton and Stanford.
