Jim Jubak is the most read investment columnist on the Internet. Beginning in May 1997, with his twice weekly "Jubak's Journal" column on MSN Money and continuing with his JubakPicks.com blog launched in July 2009, his online stock picks have returned 254% since inception versus an 18% return for the S&P 500, as of the close on July 24, 2009. Mr. Jubak's book, The Jubak Picks, was published in December 2008. The online portfolio based on this book, as of July 24, 2009, gained 38% since its December 30, 2008 launch versus a 13% gain for the S&P 500. Prior to JubaksPicks.com, he served as the senior financial editor at Worth magazine and as the editor of Venture magazine. Mr. Jubak has written two other books: The Worth Guide to Electronic Investing and In the Image of the Brain: Breaking the Barrier Between the Human Mind and Intelligent Machines. He was a Knight Bagehot Business Journalism Fellow at Columbia University from 1983-1984 and earned a PhD in English literature from the University of Virginia.
