Speaker Biography:
Rob Hanna, a full-time trader, has served as president of Hanna Capital Management, LLC since 2001. In January 2008, he began Quantifiable Edges, a blog and Web site that focuses on assessing market action through indicators and history. Mr. Hanna looks at price, volume, breadth, and sentiment indicators; some are well known and publicly available and others are proprietary. The frequent market studies he publishes in both his blog and newsletters help provide a foundation for his market analysis and trading bias. Though Mr. Hanna's blog only averages 17 to 18 posts per month, it is still the 32nd most trafficked financial blog according to Newsflashr.com. His blog is currently republished on Greenfaucet.com, MrSwing.com, and various times on PhilsStockWorld.com. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Hanna's column, "Rob Hanna's Putting It All Together," could be found twice a week on TradingMarkets.com. He was also featured in Brett Steenbarger's most recent book, The Daily Trading Coach. In the past year, Mr. Hanna has served as the keynote speaker at the Boston Investors Club monthly meeting.
