Rakesh Shah is the founder of TenPointTrading.com, which specialises in trading strategies, where he trades independently and coaches students on principles of trading, as well as being a regular speaker at events. An active trader and investment banker since 1995, his research and strategies are regularly published in the Financial Times Investors Chronicle magazine and on the London Stock Exchange in the LSE Web site "Interchange Investor Centre." Mr. Shah has a unique insight into the most profitable trading strategies used by professionals worldwide. He has been investing in the financial markets for over 12 years using both fundamental and technical analysis techniques. Mr. Shah's investment banking background in London and New York servicing hedge funds gives him a unique insight into the various trading strategies used in the market today. His career in corporate finance began in 1993, working on the sale of "Parcel Force", and later, he worked at different trading desks in investment banks. In 1998, Mr. Shah established a margin trading desk at ABN AMRO Bank London for the leveraged trading currencies, FX futures, and options. After that, he moved to New York to work on Wall Street with Credit Agricole Indosuez, CARR futures, further developing his skills working with hedge funds, CTAs, and institutional clients by looking at the best way to execute futures and foreign exchange transactions.
