MoneyTalk—Investors Speak Out!
Washington DC Money Show attendees were – for the most part – bullish on the markets and ‘waiting to see’ on the upcoming Presidential election. Here’s what they had to say:
l “I think this is a scary time in the market, but you can still make money.” Joan N., Kochville, Md
l “It’s too early to tell what the upcoming Presidential election will mean for the markets. If the Democrats sweep, I would expect to see changes in taxes, especially in the capital gains and estate tax areas. And if they do win, I don’t think it will be as bad as people expect.” Linda S., Sarasota, Fl.
l Michael: “I’m bullish on the market and am interested in the resources and financial sectors. In the US, I like United Technologies (UTX) and infrastructure companies.”
Jennifer: “I have a good feeling about the markets, but am a little scared of the upcoming election.”
Michael & Jennifer P., Australia
