Traders-new and experienced-gathered at the recent Traders Expo in New York City. There, they heard from a wide array of options, equities, and forex experts. Here is just a brief sample of the highlights from the show.

Traders looking for forex tips found plenty of new strategies-and sample trades-in Todd Gordon's and Kathy Lien's workshops.

Using options to extract yourself from a bad trade was the subject of Randy Frederick's session, while Alex Jacobson talked about the latest foreign exchange options.

Other technical strategies were addressed in workshops by Timothy Sykes, who analyzed a series of penny stock trades for attendees; John Carter's interview on the futures markets; and Tim Morge's interview discussing median lines.

Kimberly DuBord shared her company's latest stock recommendations for the commodity and energy sectors.

Rob Booker, Linda Bradford Raschke, and Dr. Ari Kiev talked about the tools-both professional and personal-that traders need to fine-tune their methodology and to increase their success.

Along those lines of making-and keeping-more of your profits, Robert Green led a session on maximizing your bottom line by claiming business trader status.

And wrapping up the show, a panel of market technicians-Ralph Acampora, Ken Tower, and David Keller-issued their forecasts for the direction of the market, as well as specific sector recommendations.
