These rules apply to the InterShow Bring-Your-Friends Drawing (“Contest”) being conducted and administered by InterShow, Githler Center, 1258 North Palm Avenue, Sarasota, Florida 34236, USA ("Sponsor”).
This Contest ends at 5.30 pm BST, 15 November 2008.
1. How to Enter: Register yourself and two or more guests for The World Money Show London 2008, by phone, online at www.worldmoneyshowlondon.co.uk , or in person at the Show Registration desk, before the prize drawing. Complete all the required registration information. You and your guests must check in at the World Money Show Registration desk 14-15 November 2008 at least (1) one hour before the prize drawing. Attend the prize drawing at The World Money Show London, 15 November 2008 at 5.30 pm BST in the exhibition hall. You must be present in order to have a chance to win the cash prize. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. The information collected from the entrant will be used to notify the entrant if they are selected as a winner. Limit one (1) entry per registrant per e-mail address during the Promotional Period. Multiple or duplicate registrations (entries) submitted by a single entrant or e-mail address, or incomplete entries, are void.
2. Eligibility: Contest is open to all attendees of The 2008 World Money Show in London who are 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of InterShow, and all their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate families (spouses, parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses regardless of where they live) and individuals living in the households of the above, are not eligible to enter or win. No purchase is necessary. Void where prohibited by law. The Contest is subject to all applicable local laws and regulations.
3. Drawing: The potential winner will be selected on 15 November 2008 from all eligible entries received in a random drawing conducted by InterShow. The odds of winning will be dependent upon the number of eligible entries received. The decision of InterShow in relation to the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the decision.
4. Notification: The potential winner will be notified in person on Saturday, 15 November 2008 at 5.30 pm in the exhibition hall. If the potential prize winner is not present to accept the prize at that time, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
5. Publicity: The potential winner may be required to complete and sign where legal, a Publicity Release at the time of drawing or prize may be forfeited and, at Sponsor's discretion, awarded to an alternate winner. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to the use of their name and photograph/likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised (including and without limitation, the Internet) without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Upon request, the winner consents to such.
6. Prize: (1) Grand Prize: A check for £250 will be awarded to the winner.
7. Additional Terms and Conditions: Check is non-transferable, and may not be given, bartered, or sold. Other restrictions may apply. Winner is responsible for the payment of all applicable taxes on the prize and for any other expenses not specifically described above.
8. Limitation of Liability:
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless InterShow and all their affiliates, subsidiaries, The World Money Show London, advertising and promotions agencies, and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees (collectively, "Releasees") from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or nonuse of any prize (including any travel related thereto) that may be awarded.
Entrants agree that the laws of Sarasota County, FL USA will govern any and all disputes.
Releasees are not responsible for computer, technical, printing, typographical, human or other errors relating to or in connection with this Contest, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in the administration of the Contest, the announcement of the prize, the processing of entries or in any Contest related materials; or for transactions that are lost, stolen, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries or postage due mail; entries that fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, human or other error; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, or process any transaction thereon. If in the Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Contest, or if computer virus, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest, the judges reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and or void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the Contest, or to terminate the Contest or that portion of the Contest relating to the suspected or actual tampering of the Contest, and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. Should the Contest be terminated or modified prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on www.WorldMoneyShowLondon.com. Any attempts by an individual to access any web site associated with this promotion via robotic, automatic entry devices, programs such as, but not limited to, by script, macro or any other automated means, or other unauthorized entry will void all such entries by such methods. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserve the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
As a condition of entering the Contest, participant agrees that: a.) under no circumstances will participant be permitted to make claims or obtain awards for punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; b.) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or the prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and c.) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys' fees.
Sponsor reserves the right to modify prize award procedures.
