Speaker Biography:
Anne-Marie Buchmuller is the manager of investor relations and assistant corporate secretary for TransGlobe Energy Corporation, which she joined in February 2008. Prior to joining TransGlobe, Ms. Buchmuller was the investor relations manager for three different energy trusts based in Calgary. Earlier in her career, she worked for the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, a Canadian-owned private bank in Zurich, Switzerland and a Swiss-owned handgun manufacturing company in the United States. All of Ms. Buchmuller's previous positions were communications related and, in some cases, included corporate secretarial responsibilities. She has also worked as a freelance translator for various Swiss law enforcement departments, including the organized crime division of the Zurich Canonal Police. Ms. Buchmuller has lived and worked in Hungary, Switzerland, the United States, and Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (equivalent) from the Zurich Business College.
