How to Potentially Profit During Times of Turmoil
James Altucher, Founder, Stockpickr.com
Pandemics, global warming, pollution, total financial collapse, massive Category 7 hurricanes, the world runs out of oil, nuclear, terrorism, etc. The one thing we know for certain--eventually the world will end. And every month it seems, the world media is on alert for another cataclysmic stock market-threatening event. Are these threats real? Is the media trying to scare people? Fear being the essential element of almost all stock market profits, we look at all the world threats, determine if it's perception versus reality, and discuss the myriad of ways to profit (via stocks) from these potential world-ending catastrophes. In particular, which stocks are good investments right now for dealing with the possible end of the world.
