Speaker Biography:
John Gagliardi has been the regional brokerage consultant for Fidelity Active Trader Services throughout the New York tri-state area since 2004. His primary responsibility is to educate traders about the tools and services that are provided by Fidelity Investments. Additionally, Mr. Gagliardi conducts local seminars on educational topics, including fundamental and technical trading, research and options, market mechanics, and trading software. Previously, he worked on Wall Street with the convertible and risk arbitrage desk at Cuttone & Co. Mr. Gagliardi left his career on the floor to pursue the newest technology in the brokerage business and worked for one of the earliest pioneers in direct-access trading, EdgeTrade.com. He is also well-versed in technical analysis and was an instructor for Pristine Capital Management. Prior to entering the financial industry, Mr. Gagliardi owned and operated several businesses that he sold to Barnes and Noble. Mr. Gagliardi holds both Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. He received a BA in business and legal studies from New York University.
