SARASOTA, FL, April 22, 2008 – InterShow, the world’s leading producer of investment trade shows and cruises, and MoneyShow.com, the most comprehensive investment education destination on the Web, announced today that it has named Barbara Schmidt-Bailey as Vice President of Business Development, for the Traders Expo and MoneyShow.com.  Ms. Schmidt-Bailey will oversee business development for the Traders Expo, The Forex Trading Expo, and MoneyShow.com.

The Traders Expo is the only expo exclusively for active traders that provides individuals with optimal exposure to everything needed for consistent and profitable trading. Produced annually in New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, along with The Forex Trading Expo in Las Vegas, these Expo’s attract more than 10,000 active traders each year.  Active trader attendees discover the latest tools and technologies, cutting-edge trading opportunities, experience in-depth educational classes, learn from, and interact with trading experts.

MoneyShow.com is the exclusive online source that offers members investment advice, specific recommendations, strategies and commentary from more than 1,400 investment and economic experts; breaking insights into investment news and the educational tools needed to further their investment knowledge and become better self-directed investors, traders, and financial advisors.

Ms. Schmidt-Bailey joins InterShow after 14 years in the financial arena, having spent seven years with Bloomberg LP in Germany and New York working with fixed-income investment bank trading desks, and seven years with the Chicago Board of Trade (CME Group) working with the FCM and IB community focusing on the retail active trader audience.

“The combination of the in-person Traders & Forex Trading Expos, along with the online content of MoneyShow.com, provides unrivaled educational value to individual traders.  Nowhere else can traders find such breadth of knowledge and network of contacts as they can via the educators, exhibitors and content providers at the Expos and on MoneyShow.com,” said Ms. Schmidt-Bailey.  “I look forward to bringing my understanding of individual traders educational interests to the Expos to further enhance their educational content and scope.”

Ms. Schmidt-Bailey is a graduate of the University of Chicago, where she received an MA in International Relations with thesis honors, and of Macalester College, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in German & International Studies.  She was the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to study economics in Germany in 1990.

“We are thrilled to have Barbara join our team.  She brings with her a deep understanding of the educational needs of active traders and will be a perfect person to work with our financial services clients to help them leverage their products and services to meet those needs” said Deborah Rossard, Executive Vice President of InterShow.
