  John Carter is president of Simpler Options, has been a full-time trader since 1996, and has actively traded for the past 22 years. He grew up the son of a Morgan Stanley stockbroker and was introduced to options trading as a sophomore in high school. Mr. Carter launched www.SimplerOptions.com to post his trading ideas. Today, he has a following of more than 50,000 people. Mr. Carter publishes a free daily as well as a premium newsletter that discusses specific trade set-ups in the financial markets, as well as commentary on the overall economic outlook. McGraw-Hill released his book, Mastering the Trade, in January 2006 and the second edition in March 2012.
