He is also the founder and president of a Registered Advisory Firm in Tucson, Arizona. Since February 2007, Mr. Schannep has served as a FINRA arbitrator (formerly, and better known as the NASD). In 2010, he was selected for the distinction as one of the ten Outstanding Advisors of the Year by Registered Rep magazine. Mr. Schannep is also involved in philanthropic activities and serves on the board as a past president of the Gospel Rescue Mission of Tucson.
