Petrobras is the largest Brazilian energy company, with a history of achievements, records, and international recognition. The company is divided into four business areas: exploration, production, refining and transportation in Brazil as well as gas and energy internationally. The company is the world's largest producer of oil from deepwater offshore fields, last year producing more than 2.4 million barrels of oil and equivalents per day, while also operating 15 refineries, 23,142 km of pipeline, and 5,973 service stations not only in Brazil, but in 27 other countries as well.
