Although the economic climate is still uncertain and the stock markets remain in bearish territory, the thousands of investors attending The World Money Show in Orlando, Florida, were surprisingly, but cautiously optimistic.
There, they heard from a range of advisors—from the decidedly bearish to those who believe in a second half recovery. Investors had an opportunity to hear—first-hand—strategies for bull, bear, and sideways markets—in more than 320 workshops and panels presented by some of the top financial pros and largest companies in the world.
In the exhibit hall, attendees tried out new trading platforms, gathered samples of leading investment newsletters, and chatted with financial experts from around the globe.
The opening ceremonies were standing-room-only, as keynote speakers offered their opinions of the new American president’s various stimulus efforts, as well as strategies for profiting from current and future market environments.
Keynote speakers included Jason Zweig, Wall Street Journal columnist; Barron’s president, Ed Finn, global guru John Rutledge, PhD, and Forbes Magazine chairman and CEO Steve Forbes. Their sessions inspired the audience and gave them specific advice for weathering the uncertain economy. Here, in Best of Show, you will find a brief summary of some of their remarks. Along with those interviews, don’t miss the link to our guests’ top stock recommendations.
We’ve also captured a handful of our more than 100 interviews from our on-site studio, so that you can see a sampling of the views and tactics that our advisors are using to profit from the volatile markets. And we’ve included links to the most popular Webcasts, which offer trading and buying tips as well as specific investment recommendations.
We hope you enjoy this brief look at The World Money Show. And make sure that you keep checking in with MoneyShow.com, as—over the next few weeks—we will post additional interviews with well-known advisors and favorite Webcasts from the show every day. You’re sure to find recommendations and strategies that will help you jump-start your investing goals.
