Oberweis Stocks up on Storage Stocks

"All of the major indices have experienced a substantial move up since the first of the year, and the small-cap arena is no exception," says Jim Oberweis, editor of The Oberweis Report . "Indeed, many of our recommendations have been soaring to new highs." Here are two new recommendations--both involved in computer storage.
"Dot Hill Systems (HILL ASE), founded in 1999 through the merger of Artecon and Box Hill, is a provider of data storage and networking solutions. The company designs and manufactures data storage products. Its Axis Storage Manager products enable customers to enhance their existing IT infrastructures without replacing them. Net revenue increased to $48.4 million for the second quarter of 2003 . This represents a 332% increase year over year, and a 59% sequential increase. These shares may be appropriate for risk oriented investors.
"Network Engines (NENG NASDAQ), founded in 1997, is a leading development, manufacturing, and distribution partner for storage and security software and equipment providers. The company works with its software partners to provide server appliances for mission-critical storage and security networking applications. Net revenues for the fiscal third quarter of 2003 increased 39% to $27 million. Earnings in the quarter grew to $.01 vs. a loss a year ago. These shares may be appropriate for risk oriented investors."
