Coolcat's Telecom Four-Pack

The Hulbert Financial Digest notes that The Coolcat Report showed an annualized average increase in its portfolios of 48.8% for the first half of 2003. The portfolios are up 43.8% annualized for the past 4-1/2 years, vs. a 2.9% annualized loss for the Wilshire 5000. Here's are the latest buys from Coolcat's editor Kevin Kennedy.
"Arch Wireless (AWIN NASDAQ) is a wireless messaging and mobile information company with operations throughout the US. The company offers a full range of wireless messaging services to business and consumers nationwide, including paging, two-way wireless e-mail, and messaging. The stock has risen from a low of just $0.32 to close to $11.
"Brightpoint (CELL NASDAQ) is a distributor of mobile phones. Brightpoint supports the global wireless telecommunications and data industry, providing quickly deployed, flexible and cost-effective third-party solutions. The stock has risen from a low of $1.16 to a recent high above $20 per share.
"Carrier Access (CACS NASDAQ) manufactures broadband communications equipment that enables telecommunications companies to accelerate service revenue, lower operating costs, and extend capital budgets. Its products have delivered more than three million voice and data lines. The stock has risen from a low of $0.30 to a recent high of $3.85.
"eOn Communications (EONC NASDAQ) provides unified voice, e-mail and Web-based communications systems for customer contact centers and general business applications. eOn helps enterprises communicate more effectively with customers, convert inquiries into sales, and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. The stock has risen from a low of $0.21 to $2.35."
