"Holly Corporation (HOC NYSE), incorporated in 1947, through its subsidiaries, engages in the refining, transportation, terminalling, and marketing of petroleum products. It purchases and refines crude oil, and wholesale markets refined products, such as gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, and northern Mexico. The company also manufactures and markets asphalt products from various terminals in Arizona and New Mexico. In addition, it also transports liquid petroleum gas (LPG) to LPG wholesalers and LPG retailers, as well as gasoline to refiners, convenience store chains, independent marketers, and retailers. As of December 31, 2005, Holly owned and operated three refineries, including Navajo Refinery in Lovington, New Mexico: The Woods Cross Refinery in Woods Cross, Utah: and The Montana Refinery in Great Falls, Montana. It also owned approximately 800 miles of crude oil pipelines located principally in West Texas and New Mexico. Additionally, the company owned interest in Holly Energy Partners, L.P., which has approximately 1,400 miles of petroleum product pipelines in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma, including 340 miles of leased pipeline: 11 refined product terminals: 2 refinery truck rack facilities, and a refined products tank farm facility.
