Millions of Americans who are confined to their homes are starting to climb the walls due to cabin fever. That’s especially true for parents who are cooped up with their children 24/7, observes international investing expert Jim Powell, editor of Global Changes & Opportunities Report.

Many such families are desperate to find things for the bored kids to do. One diversion that is enjoying amazing popularity with both children and their parents is video games. The best of them allow users to chose their level of difficulty.

Many games also involve two or more people who compete with each other as soldiers, knights, superheroes, space aliens, and a dozen others. Activision Blizzard (ATVI) is one of the world’s most popular video game producers. Last quarter, over 409 million people played Activision’s games.

All of the company’s titles can be downloaded from its online store and played on PlayStation, Xbox, and Blizzard Battle. Activision’s popular titles include World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Candy Crush, Overwatch, Diablo, and StarCraft.

Activision’s games have superb graphics. The games also give users many choices about the direction of the game, the setting, the equipment used, and so on. It is easy to get hooked – as millions of users can confirm. Activision generated $6.5 billion in revenue last year. I think the company will do even better this year because it has a captive market.

I don’t like video games, so I have not recommended any of the stocks in my newsletter in the past. I’m making an exception for Activision that is saving many stay at home families from going completely crazy. Although the stock isn’t one of our blue chips, I think it will be a good choice for aggressive investors.
