Bloomberg: The Fed lifts rates and steepens the path through 2020 for more hikes. More from Ziad Jasani of the Independent Investor Institute.

Should we stay, or should we go? This week is likely to pivot on Wednesday, at 2 pm (EDT) when we hear from the Fed and new Chair Powell. Stocks pare gains, dollar slips as Fed hikes.

It’s the pivot for the week as either Powell is perceived as hawkish and odds for a 4th rate hike in 2018 to grow beyond the 25% they sit at or Mr. Market sees enough.

Logic would dictate that the Fed leans hawkish, as inflationary pressures are mounting and there are fewer doves on the voting roster this go around.
