The Weekly Whisper from the Dark Pool: IAU, XLE, UMC, HRB

Stefanie Kammerman, the Stock Whisperer, here to tell you the Weekly Whisper from the Dark Pool for May 10: AKS, UUP and CAT. And a recap of Whisper performance last week: IAU, XLE, UMC, HRB in the weekly Thursday video and transcript.
But before we get to this week’s Whisper, let’s talk about at last week May 3. If you recall, we were bearish on iShares Gold Trust ETF (IAU) after spotting huge sell prints at this $12 level. We can see IAU went all the way down to $11.68, so gold was a terrific short last week.
Also Energy Select SPDR ETF (XLE), we were bullish on this only above $68. And you can see finally today (May 10) we are breaking above that and we had some really, really huge buy prints coming in at $68.16. As long as it can stay above that I absolutely still love this.
Also on May 3, United Microelectronics (UMC). I told you guys this is slow mover. But it is moving higher. We spotted prints at $1.95 and I’m bullish above $2. Still moving, still like it. I’m still in it.
But this was the big winner. H&R Block (HRB). This was a seasonality play, bullish above $25. This thing popped $1.40. It is getting a little bit of resistance here. I took some profit. I still love it. $27.50 is the next target. Higher and then in the $30s, if it can break above that.
So what are we watching this week? Well, besides XLE, steel, you guys. We had that negative news finally coming out on this sector from China. I love when the news comes out because that’s usually when the buyers come in. You can see the volume coming in on AK Steel Holding Corp. (AKS). I love this. Bullish above $6, first target $6.25, $6.50, $7.00, $7.50. It really depends on when I see those sellers come in. That’s when I’m going to be getting out.
Also, we spotted this huge Dark Pool print on PowerShares DB US Dollar Index Bullish Fund (UUP). This is a dollar ETF. $25.70, if you trade forex, if you trade gold, oil, anything relevant to the dollar, you definitely want to keep your eye on $25.70, bullish above, bearish below.
And Caterpillar (CAT). It’s been in a little bit of a downward trend. It looks like it’s finally breaking out as long as it can close above this high volume candle $100.21.
