The Weekly Whisper from the Dark Pool: XLF, UUP, GLD

Stefanie Kammerman, the Stock Whisperer, here to tell you the Whisper of the Week from the Dark Pool for June 7: XLF, UUP, and GLD. And a recap of past Whisper performance of NKE, XLF, and GS in my weekly Thursday video and transcript.
Before we get to this week’s Whisper, we have to talk about last week’s Whisper. Last week June 7 if you recall, I was loving Financial Select SPDR Fund (XLF), we spotted those huge prints if you recall 3 million at $23.46 and 2 million at $23.58. We were bullish at $23.60. I especially like the breakout on this daily chart, you can it was in a wedge and see prints, they are amazing. XLF rocketed all the way up to $24.50, my traders in my trading room were rocking it on all the financial stocks. I personally logged a trade on Goldman Sachs (GS), loved to do options on that. A great, great week on that.
Also, if you recall, we still love Nike (NKE) above $52.50, that’s where massive Dark Pool prints were coming in. It just keeps going up and up and up. The next major resistance level is $55. And so definitely take some profit there.
And speaking of XLF, let’s go to this week’s Whisper, we had a massive 6 million print come in on XLF. And if you have my Dark Pool app, I tweet all day long when these big prints come in. You can see where these big prints are coming in. See, here’s my tweet 4 hours ago, a 6 million print on XLF, bullish above $24.26. Bearish below $24.12.
In fact, I was a tweeting maniac today (June 14).
We spotted some really big prints on PowerShares DB US Dollar Index Bullish Fund (UUP). This is going to be a huge move for the dollar. If you trade gold, oil, forex, you definitely want to watch UUP. This the dollar ETF.
We get large prints on this dollar ETF from time to time and it always gives us direction on the dollar. Let me show you on my screen. Here they were today, a 153,000 at $25.06. And 379,939 at $25.05. I know they don’t seem too large but look at the overall volume on this dollar ETF. It normally trades 400,000. You can see that’s extremely large. So how are we going to trade this? Well, I’m going to draw one line here at $25.12. We’re going to be bullish above $25.12 and I always like to go up to the next level. And we’re going to be bearish below $25.
Also, we spotted huge prints on the SPDR Gold Trust (GLD). We spotted a 1.5 million print at $121.30.
Also, we’re going to be bullish only above $121.50. Bearish below $121.
