The Weekly Whisper from the Dark Pool: Wells Fargo, American Eagle Outfitters
09/07/2017 2:57 am EST
Stefanie Kammerman, the Stock Whisperer, from the MoneyShow Toronto Friday and Saturday, to tell you the Whisper of the Week: Wells Fargo and American Eagle Outfitters. And, past Whispers on Delta Air Lines and Starbucks in my weekly Thursday video and transcript.
Before we get to this week’s Whisper, let’s talk about the last week’s Whisper. On August 30, we had our eye on a couple of things.
One was Delta Air Lines (DAL). And if you recall, we were bullish above $47. And it didn’t make a double bottom here. But it did today make a bullish engulfing candle here and it did make it above $47. I still like seasonality as it starts to rally. However, watch this $47.50 level. That’s key, the next resistance. If we can close above that, then I can see Delta going up to $50.
Also watching Starbucks (SBUX) really would like to see close above $55. Was not able to do that. I still love it. If she can break above $55, there’s a lot of room to run.
But what are we watching now?
I spotted some really big prints today once again on Wells Fargo (WFC). If you recall, the last time we spotted big prints on Wells Fargo, that was two days before those fraudulent bank accounts came out. Have a feeling something is brewing. Let me show you these two big prints. We had two big prints come in at $49.68 and $49.85.
Here’s how we’re going to trade it. Gonna be bullish on a close above the price above $50. Going to be bearish on a close below $49.60.
Also, we spotted a huge print coming in which is unusual on American Eagle Outfitters (AEO), and the print was $12.60. You can see the close above that. It looks like the smart money is coming buying AEO. We have a nice bullish doji sandwich, it’s a green candle, high volume doji and another green candle. Love, love, love this pattern. Bullish above $12.74. $13 is my first target, then about $13.75, and if it can break above that, $14 is the last target on AEO.
Come watch me trade all day long in the Java Pit. Happy trading everybody!
If you’re in Toronto, I’m at MoneyShow Toronto Sept. 8, 9.
