AFX

The American Financial Exchange(AFX) is a centralized, electronic, self-regulated, and fully transparent exchange launched in 2015 to directly reflect true unsecured funding costs for a nationally broad base of U.S. banks and financial institutions in the private sector.  AMERIBORis the benchmark interest rate created by the AFX. AMERIBOR mirrors the actual borrowing costs of the thousands of small, medium, and regional banks across America.  Our partner, the Cboe, hosts the platform and performs market surveillance and compliance services. Our cash lending market has more than 150 members with a presence in 50 states. On August 16th, the AFX will launch a 7-day and 90-day AMERIBOR futures contract with the CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE), which is the Cboes futures division.
