We just got some shocking, terrible news here at MoneyShow.com: Georges Yared died suddenly over the weekend. He was only 53 years old and leaves behind a wife, five children, two grandchildren, and three sisters.

Georges was the editor of the InvestorPlace Media publication Yared's GameChangers and a popular speaker at our Money Shows. I got to interview him for our Video Network and found him engaging and well-informed: his sharp mind went along with a ready smile. Most striking, however, was his love for what he did. You just can't fake that kind of passion, and though I didn't know him beyond the bounds of the studio, I woudn't be surprised if he was like that in the rest of his life, too.

Now, to our deep regret, he's gone-much too young! This is one of those times when life seems so unfair.

We would like to offer our condolences to his wife Cindy and his entire family-Howard R. Gold.
