David Nelson

David Nelson is portfolio manager and CEO of DC Nelson Asset Management, LLC. Prior to founding the firm, he was a portfolio manager with Lehman Brothers in their New York City office where, from 1996-2000, he was responsible for managing the assets of high-net-worth clients and small institutions. Prior to serving with Lehman, Mr. Nelson was at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter where, from 1995-1997, he played an active role in management at their flagship New York City office. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he was a financial consultant for Merrill Lynch. Mr. Nelson is a frequent commentator and guest on FOX News, Bloomberg TV, and the BIZ Radio Network where he discusses markets, politics, and individual securities. He also frequently lectures on the financial markets, including several recent appearances before the American Association of Individual Investors. Mr. Nelson is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a designation issued solely by the CFA Institute (formerly the Association for Investment Management and Research).
