About Roger

Roger Young is a senior vice president for Fidelity Capital Markets (FCM), a division of Fidelity Investments. He manages FCM's fixed-income distribution for retail, high-net-worth, family office, and correspondent banking. Mr. Young is a 30-year financial services veteran with extensive experience in institutional banking, portfolio management, trading, and research in the domestic debt markets. Prior to joining Fidelity in 1991 as vice president and manager of taxable trading, he ran the short-term funding desk of Bank of Boston. In 1985, Mr. Young took a senior position with London-based Kleinwort-Benson in Chicago, where he ran their Eurodollar futures trading at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Mr. Young began his career in banking with Norwest Bank in Minneapolis in 1978. He worked on the funding and trading desks and eventually became senior vice president of the bank's Asset Liability Committee, managing their multi-billion taxable and tax-exempt portfolio. Mr. Young is a member of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, where he was co-chair of their Corporate Bond Education Committee in June 1997.
