Andrew Brownsword

Andrew Brownsword is currently senior vice president of Brokerage Business Development, focusing on growing Fidelity's trading and ETF businesses. Entering his 20th year at Fidelity, he started in Marketing and Strategic Planning in Fidelity Institutional where he spearheaded that group's efforts to help CPAs become independent investment advisors. Mr. Brownsword then transitioned to Fidelity Personal Investing and joined the Marketing and Segment Management Groups. In three years there, he worked on the launch of Active Trader Pro and development of various, multi-channel customer referral programs. In 2004, he joined National Sales in FPI Distribution where he led early local market development efforts, the lead management function, and the sales and service requirements for new products such as the cash management account. In 2007, Mr. Brownsword moved to vice president of Sales in PI's Merrimack, NH, phone site. In that role, he was responsible for the outbound sales, financial planning, and PCG account executive functions. Last, Andrew worked from 2009 to 2013 as the head of self-directed/active trader segment of Fidelity's personal investing clients.
