Though the major US averages other than the Nasdaq Composite made new closing lows Monday, the NYSE A/D line has not. Though this is an encouraging sign, it would take several days of very strong A/D numbers to suggest a significant low was in place. A move in the A/D line above the recent highs would be positive.
