Utilities Still Underperforming

The utility stocks have gotten some attention this week as some investors have become more defensive. The Dow Jones Utilities average is testing major resistance in the 390-400 area as the longer-term uptrend has held. The RS line is in a solid downtrend, indicating the utilities are still underperforming the S&P 500.
