Stefanie Kammerman, the Stock Whisperer, to tell you the Whisper of the Week: COST, SBUX, IAU, T, TPR, MU, BAC, and recaps of TLT, RSX and XOP in my weekly Thursday video under five minutes and my transcript.
Before we get to this week’s Whisper, let’s talk about the last Whisper on Nov. 1.
We had our eye on iShares Barclays 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT). We talked about watching this $125 area. This is a breakout, the trend change. As soon it topped, as soon as she closed at $125, shot all the way up to $126. And change. That w2as an awesome trade
Also, we were watching VanEck Vectors Russia ETF (RSX), we had a pretty good print on that at $22.17, bullish above $22.25. Finally broke above that a couple days ago and hit some resistance at $22.50. That is a key level. If we can break above that a lot more room to run.
SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (XOP) was a big one huge winner as soon as she closed above $35.50. Had a fantastic rally, almost $37.
So, what are we watching today? Well let’s talk about the Las Vegas TradersExpo. Wow, that was a fantastic show, so many amazing presenters. I did a very special presentation there which was on webcast if you guys caught that. If not, it is available on video on the MoneyShow.com site here.
I did a special presentation called Finding the Hottest Holiday Picks Following the Dark Pool. I’m going to run through my favorites from that presentation.
I do this four times a year, picking my favorites seasonal picks and I combine it with my Dark Pool secrets.
We first went over Costco (COST). This is huge seasonality, normally goes up this time. I showed everybody those Dark Pool prints. We were bullish above $165 and wow this thing popped to $169 Nov. 8. And guess what we spotted yesterday? A huge 400,000 share print at $168. So as long as it stays above $168, I’m going to be bullish on Costco. I do have a high-end target of $170 to $172.50 that’s my first swing. We have three other ones that can break above that.
Also, Starbucks (SBUX), that was another hot stock. $57.50, key level, and we finally broke above that Nov. 8. So as long as it stays above $57.50, I have a high-end target of $66 on that one.
Also, iShares Gold Trust ETF (IAU), this we’ve been waiting for so long you guys. It has massive prints. This was my weekly Whisper a couple weeks ago. $12.31 was my magic level. Guess what happened? Finally broke above it, $12.37. I’m bullish on gold, I do trade SPDR Gold Trust ETF (GLD), instead of IAU, it’s a little bit slow. But on IAU, watch $12.55. That’s the next Dark Pool area.
Also, AT&T (T). We’re watching this one. Had a 15 million print. I know a lot of stuff is going on with TimeWarner. We had a huge sell print, I showed you that in my Dark Pool app. I am bullish on a close above $34. Keep watching that. If we close above that, I’m bullish. If we close below, I’m bearish at $33. It’s all about the close. During the day, lotta noise.
Also, Coach, which changed its name and symbol to Tapestry, Inc. (TPR). I’m going to be bullish on a close above $42. They were selling there last September, I showed everybody in the webcast. So, we have to close above $42 for me to get in on this swing.
We’re watching a couple other things. Micron Technology (MU) we had a big print 4 million a couple days ago. Hasn’t made a big move yet at $43.50. We’re going to be bullish above $44.
And Bank of America (BAC) we had a big million share print Nov. 8, looks like a sell print at $26.92. I’m going to be bearish below $26.50.
Come watch me trade along with my amazing traders all day long in the Java Pit. Happy trading everybody!
