John De Goey

John De Goey is a portfolio manager at Designed Securities in Toronto.  He is the author of three books, the most recent being Bullshift – How Optimism Bias Threatens Your Finances. He has been a contributing editor to Canadian MoneySaver Magazine for over twenty years and has written extensively for major publications nationwide. John has twice been named one of Canada’s Top 50 Advisors by Wealth Professional Magazine and is one of only ten people to have won the Donald J. Johnston Award for his lifetime contribution to financial planning in Canada.
