About Lawrence
Lawrence Hooper, Jr., joined The Adams Express Company and Petroleum & Resources Corporation as secretary and general counsel in 1997. Former treasurer of the Closed-End Fund Association and member of the Investment Company Institute's Closed-End Fund Subcommittee, he is also chairman of the General Counsel Subcommittee of the Maryland State Bar Association. Mr. Hooper received an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a law degree, with honors, from the University of Maryland.
