John Netto

John Netto is the author of The Global Macro Edge: Maximizing Return Per Unit-of-Risk and featured in Unknown Market Wizards: The Best Traders You've Never Heard of. He is also the creator of the Netto Number, the Risk Factor Compensation System, and the Protean Strategy. Mr. Netto is an expert in developing, executing, and managing proprietary algorithmic and discretionary trading strategies across a range of time horizons, asset classes, and market regimes. John has also appeared on numerous financial content mediums to share his passion for risk-based macro trading. 
     Moreover, he is a student at UNLV's Boyd School of Law where he is expected to complete his Juris Doctor degree in May 2025 and sit for the Nevada Bar Exam in July 2025. As a JD student, Mr. Netto externed 1) at the Nevada Supreme Court under the Honorable Justice Kristina Pickering and 2) for the Eighth Judicial District's ADR/Discovery Commissioner Adam Ganz. John is also pursuing an MBA with an accounting focus from UNLV's Lee School of Business with an expected graduation of May 2026.
