Bob Burnett

Bob Burnett is a technologist and entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience in tech-related companies. He has also founded or co-founded over 25 companies including seven in the Bitcoin space. Most notable of these is Barefoot Mining, which operates several Bitcoin mining centers in South Dakota and South Carolina. Mr. Burnett serves as CEO of Barefoot Mining and is the founder of the Barefoot Bitcoin Fund which focuses on investments in the Bitcoin ecosystem. He is also an evangelist for the positive impact Bitcoin will have on the world's future and has spoken and taught about it across the globe, and he is a contributing author at Bitcoin Magazine. Earlier in his career spent thirteen years at Gateway, Inc. a Fortune 200 company serving as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Products and Executive Vice President of International Markets. During his tenure at Gateway, he managed a multi-billion-dollar P&L center and led the company's expansion into areas such as laptop computers, plasma TVs, digital cameras, and MP3 players. Prior to this he worked for Zenith Electronics where he held various engineering and marketing roles including being a member of the team which developed the world's first true laptop computer.
