Warren Dillard

Warren Dillard is chief executive officer, chief financial officer, director, and a founder of Vanguard Energy Corporation, having organized the company in early 2010. Vanguard is an oil development company focused on revitalizing old, established fields recovering left behind oil using new, best practices drilling and recovery techniques in new wells. He has over 40 years of business experience including mutual fund management at The American Funds Group of mutual funds and in the management of large (150 properties in 23 states) commercial real estate portfolios as president of the Pacific American Real Estate Funds public limited partnerships. Mr. Dillard was also senior vice president and chief financial officer at Pepperdine University for seven years. He has been a CFO and COO of early stage technology companies, and his private investment banking experience includes assisting in the funding and early stage management of small- to medium-sized companies for over 20 years. Mr. Dillard earned his Bachelor's degree in accounting from Texas A & M University and his MBA in finance from the Harvard Business School.
