Kevin Landis is Firsthand Fund's founder and chief investment officer. He manages three of Firsthand's Funds, including the Firsthand Technology Value Fund (TVFQX), Technology Leaders Fund (TLFQX), and the Technology Innovators Fund (TIFQX). Prior to co-founding Firsthand Capital Management, Inc., in 1993, Mr. Landis built a career in technology. First at Dataquest, a high-tech market research firm, then at S-MOS Systems, a chip company, he gained firsthand experience and insight into the inner workings of high-tech companies. Now, Mr. Landis is one of the best-known portfolio managers for high-tech funds and Firsthand Capital Management, Inc., has become one of the leading technology asset management firms. He regularly appears on CNN, CNBC, and FOX News and has been featured in Forbes, Fortune, Smart Money, Time, and Money magazines. Mr. Landis has an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BS in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.
