Director and Instructor of The
Chicago Board Options Exchange
Frank Tirado is a director and an instructor for The Options Institute, the educational division of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. He has been with the CBOE since 1989 and is currently responsible for working with brokerage firms and financial advisors to develop strategic ways to build their options business to better service their options clients. Mr. Tirado is also involved in creating options educational programs for firms, advisors, and high-net-worth investors. He regularly presents pragmatic options seminars designed for investors and advisors to options in English and Spanish. In addition to his responsibilities at the Options Institute, Mr. Tirado serves as an instructor for The Options Industry Council, an organization representing the options industry in the US. Previously, he was director of retail marketing at CBOE for several years, where he was involved with domestic and international marketing initiatives. Prior to that, Mr. Tirado was a senior investigator for CBOE's Regulatory Division. He also taught mathematics for the University of New Mexico's Center for Academic Program Support. Mr. Tirado earned a BBA in finance from the University of New Mexico and a Master's degree in international business from the Roosevelt University in Chicago.
