Joshua Betancourt

Joshua Betancourt is founder and chief investment strategist of Quantum Capital Investments, LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor and Registered Commodity Trading Advisor. He is also the senior portfolio manager for Quantum, a firm he helped to establish, where he manages portfolios in equities, fixed-income, futures, and options. Previously, Mr. Betancourt was a trading apprentice for a local exchange member/trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where he quickly began to develop his own trading strategies incorporating both options and futures in a portfolio. In 2002, he joined Refco, LLC, where he introduced and managed a third-party system trading service and options trading service on commodities. Mr. Betancourt then joined the wealth management division of UBS managing equity, fixed-income, and alternative investment portfolios for affluent investors, family offices, and private institutions. He graduated with a BS in finance from Northeastern Illinois University in the top five percent in the College of Business and Management.
