John Docherty

John Docherty has been a senior executive in the pharmaceutical and bioscience sectors for over 20 years. Mr. Docherty is a toxicologist and pharmacologist by training, with an emphasis on the development of advanced drug delivery technologies. He was former president and COO of Helix BioPharma Corp. (TSX:HBP). Mr. Docherty is a named inventor on multiple issued and pending patents. At Lexaria, he is primarily responsible for leading development and commercialization of the company's patented technology for enhancing the palatability and delivery of orally administered lipophilic bioactive substances.
