For over a decade, Arbor Realty Trust Inc. (ABR) was a standout dividend-growth finance REIT. From 2012 through the first quarter of 2025, the ABR dividend grew by 300%. It faced some issues in 2025, but I expect ABR to be the high-yield turnaround story of 2026, maintains Tim Plaehn, editor of The Dividend Hunter.
Over the past few years, Rithm Capital Corp. (RITM) has grown primarily through acquisitions to become a diversified asset management company. However, from the share price action, it is apparent that the investing public still views RITM as just another finance REIT, advises Tim Plaehn, editor of The Dividend Hunter.
When I learned about the business operations of refining companies a decade ago, I became a fan of the sector and the long-term profit rewards that investors can earn from it. My favorite name is Marathon Petroleum Corp. (MPC), notes Tim Plaehn, editor of The Dividend Hunter.
Starwood Property Trust Inc. (STWD) recently reported first-quarter earnings, and the company is poised to generate strong earnings growth this year and into the next. I would not be surprised if STWD trades above $25 again in the coming year. Pick up shares while the price is near $20 and the yield is well over 9%, advises Tim Plaehn, editor of The Dividend Hunter.

The number and assets under management of option strategy, covered-call ETFs has exploded over the last couple of years. New funds with unique strategies are being launched every week. Investors are intrigued with distribution yields of 20%, 30%, 50%, and even approaching 100%. In February I launched the only service dedicated to analyzing and recommending these high-yield ETFs. In this webinar, I will share which option strategies are working best for investors and share some of my current recommendations.

The bond market drawdown that started in August 2020 has been the longest decline in the history of the bond market. Investors with assets in bond funds have suffered through a three-year bear market. Unfortunately, the way bond funds operate makes it nearly impossible to recover the losses. In this presentation, Tim will explain how bond funds operate and the problems with traditionally operated funds. He will also give you high-yield alternatives with a different structure that eliminates the biggest problem with traditional bond funds and ETFs. He'll even show you how to incorporate them into your portfolio.

The energy sector, especially Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs) have crashed. Do they have further to go? Probably reports Tim Plaehn.
