About Hail
Hail Yang leads product commercialization and distribution strategy for the Canadian iShares business. In this role, he oversees the strategy for reaching and serving Canadian clients across all segments. Hail and his team lead the development and activation of ETF-focused thought leadership and content for institutional investors, advisors, and end investors across Canada. He regularly engages with clients, partners, and media as a product strategist.
In addition, he leads a product consulting team that delivers ETF subject matter expertise across the Canadian-listed iShares ETF lineup, spanning all asset classes and investment strategies. The team supports clients and advises colleagues on a broad range of topics, including product structure, performance, risk, index construction, foreign exchange, taxation, regulation, competitive positioning, portfolio construction, and implementation.
Hail joined BlackRock in 2011. He is a CFA charterholder, and holds the CPA CA designation.
